Xlear SparX Candy – Products Worth Reviewing

Kids are always constantly demanding sweets. Whether it’s lollipops, chocolate, gum, or gummy bears, inevitably a child will beg for candy of some sort. But as parents, we know that giving our children candy isn’t always a good decision. But we do it anyway for whatever reasons. So what if you can give your child a healthier version of candy? A candy that have properties to help their teeth instead of hurting it? Well, the candy that parents can breathe a sigh of relief and maybe jump for joy is called SparX and it’s made by Xlear, the leading company in the US using Xylitol as the main ingredient.

We were introduced to Xlear (https://www.xlear.com/) and SparX products not too long ago and I was really amazed at how great-tasting they were. I’ve never tried Xylitol before and since it’s considered a natural ingredient (usually derived from trees and fruits and vegetables), it’s not as sweet as say, natural cane sugar or honey. And according to Xlear, xylitol is recommended by dentists, medical doctors, periodontists, pediatricians, and many health organizations and health professionals worldwide as a sweetener for anyone concerned with dental health, upper respiratory health, and sugar consumption, in general. Hearing that Xylitol is actually good for the teeth, I don’t feel too bad about giving it to my son. But as with any sweet products, moderation is best. My son absolutely enjoyed SparX candies because they tasted very fruity and were bite-sized so they were easy and fun to eat. All of the SparX candies are naturally sweetened with fruit and do not contain any artifiical flavors or colors.

SparX candies are also tasty for adults and not just kids. I really enjoyed eating them too and since they were not too sweet and had a tart flavor, it made it more enjoyable as I’m not a big sweets fan. And since they’re made with Xylitol, it wouldn’t hurt to protect my teeth naturally too.  How can you beat eating something sweet while protecting your teeth? As for proof, I’m not really sure how it works. But if studies has been made and if there are no bad side effects like regular candy, then it wouldn’t hurt to try SparX. And since they are bite-sized you can have a few or a lot. That’s why I think it works for kids – they can have just a few or a handful because they are so small in size.

Currently, SparX comes in the following flavors – Berry, Citrus, and Fruit. You can find them at most natural grocery stores and Xlear also makes other xylitol products including Xylitol Sweetener, Xylitol Nasal Sprays, and Xylitol Gum (we love their gum especially!). The SparX candies are not very expensive and a bottle can last awhile, depending on how often you eat the candy of course. Both my son and I enjoyed SparX and I like to keep a bottle in my purse for those candy “emergencies”.
